OSHA 10 HOUR CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY TRAINING PROGRAM COMPLIANCE WITH NEVADA REQUIREMENTS

The 10-hour OSHA training program is intended to provide a variety of training to people working in the construction industry. Students will be taught their rights as an employee and the responsibilities of employers. Awareness and identification of safety issues are a key component of this training. Safe work practices will be the focal point to reduce the possibility of accidents and a worker becoming another OSHA statistic. Of the topics listed below, five and one-half hours are mandatory and two hours must be chosen from the optional list provided. For the remainder of the class other construction industry standards or policies will be taught. Every effort will be made to customize the optional list and remaining standards to fit the occupations of the students in the class being taught.
